As they part ways on Pabu, Phee affectionately refers to Tech as "Brown Eyes." "Brown Eyes" is also how Migs Mayfeld once referred to Din Djarin in The Mandalorian.

Referred to in the script as the "Empire's Top Brass", Tarkin's council includes Hurst Romodi (originally seen in Star Wars: A New Hope), Barton Coburn (originally seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars), and Orson Krennic (originally seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). Early drafts also included Cassio Tagge, Conan Antonio Motti, and Trech Molock (all from A New Hope), but it was decided that not all of these officers would be so high ranking this early in the Empire's existence.
