At night on Pabu, the team goes over the recently recovered Imperial data. Though there's little information available on Doctor Hemlock, head of the advanced science division currently holding Crosshair, Echo has some new intel: Hemlock is set to attend a high-level Imperial summit at Tarkin's compound on Eriadu.
-
They could infiltrate the compound, plant a homing beacon on Hemlock's ship, and track him to his base. But Hunter isn't sure it's worth the risk. "We have not always agreed with Crosshair, but he is still our brother," Tech says. "We do not leave our own behind."
-
As the team prepares to leave, Phee approaches Tech, teasing that he was going to leave without saying goodbye. "Well, don't go running off with any pirates or smugglers while you're gone," she says.
-
Doctor Hemlock arrives at Eriadu, joining the other Imperial leadership. Meanwhile, the Bad Batch approach the planet, transmitting old clearance codes to land on the surface.
-
The Bad Batch land on the outskirts and find the compound to be heavily fortified and isolated in the mountains. Hunter's plan is to hitch a ride on the Raven's Peak rail line, taking them directly to the fortress.
-
They arrive at the facility and quickly overtake the guards. At the summit, Hemlock reports on his advancements in cloning. The conversation turns to the doctor's use of clones as test subjects, with some voicing concern.
-
The Bad Batch make their way to the hangar. Tech, Echo, and Hunter go to the control room to access the manifest in order to identify Hemlock's ship; Wrecker and Omega are charged with planting the homing beacon.
-
Tech identifies the ship, but Echo finds that several security systems have had cycled deactivations. Back in the hangar, Omega, small enough to remain hidden, goes to plant the beacon.
-
Omega secures the device, but there are too many troops to make it back to Wrecker. From the control room, Echo creates a diversion.
-
Tech and Hunter find another offline camera, further raising their suspicions, then an explosive charge. "One charge will not cause much damage," Tech says.
-
"Good thing we have more," a voice replies. Rebel leader Saw Gerrera, disguised as a stormtrooper, emerges.
-
Saw plans on destroying the facility and won't listen to Hunter and Echo's pleas. "You expect me to call this off to save a few prisoners?" he says. "We are trying to fight an Empire." Their debate is cut short, however, as security forces enter the room. Saw and an accomplice take one exit, while Hunter and Tech blast their way out in another direction.
-
The compound goes on lockdown, including Tarkin's meeting room.
-
The Batchers reunite as they head to the cable car lift. Meanwhile, Saw and his squad reach their ship. As they take off, Gerrera hits the detonator.
-
Explosions rip through the Imperial facility!
-
The Bad Batch's cable car comes to halt as it loses power, suspended over a vast nothingness. "This is going to be a problem," Tech says.
