-
Boba Fett and Fennec Shand survey the devastation at the Sanctuary. The Mandalorian joins them, believing the people of Freetown will come to help.
-
Elsewhere, Cad Bane meets with the Pykes and Mayor Mok Shaiz. As they discuss matters, the Pyke leader admits to slaughtering Fett's Tusken tribe, though Boba has no knowledge of this truth. Meanwhile, an X-wing lands at Peli Motto's docking bay. Grogu emerges from the cockpit, wearing his beskar chainmail shirt; R2-D2, having piloted the ship, chirps from the astromech port.
-
Krrsantan, along with Fett's other allies, head to keep tabs on the other families. Cad Bane comes to negotiate with Fett; he claims that the people of Freetown won't be coming, and reveals the truth about what happened to the Tuskens. Sensing his anger, Shand urges Fett to wait. "Tell your client negotiations are terminated," Fett says.
-
In the Mos Espa streets, the Pykes spring their trap! The Klatooinians, Trandoshans, and Aqualish -- meant to stay neutral -- attack Fett's personnel. The Pykes close in on the Sanctuary, but the Daimyo will not surrender. Fett and Mando take them by surprise, blasters blazing. Still, there are too many...until the people of Freetown arrive, helping push back the Pykes.
-
"I wouldn't celebrate yet," Mando says. Three towering scorpenek droids turn the corner, opening fire on the pinned group. Unable to penetrate their shields, Fett orders his people to run. He leaves for reinforcements, asking Mando to keep the citizens protected.
-
Peli soon arrives with Grogu, and Mando hitches a ride as a scorpenek pursues. Mando takes a moment to reconnect with the little being, but a blast sends all careening into the street. Just as the scorpenek closes in, a roar echoes through the city...
-
...as Fett appears, perched atop his rancor. The powerful beast helps our heroes turn the tide. Though the battle is seemingly won, Cad Bane returns to confront Fett once more.
-
"This is my city. These are my people," Fett says. "I will not abandon them." Bane proves the faster draw, but Fett's skill with a gaffi stick takes the Duros by surprise.
-
The rancor, now loose, runs rampant until Grogu calms the creature. The day won, Shand ties up all loose ends. Later, Fett and Shand are greeted as heroes in the Mos Espa streets. "We are not suited for this," Fett says. "If not us, then who?" Shand replies.
-
In space, Mando and Grogu depart in the warrior's N-1 starfighter. The child delights as Mando hits the accelerator.
