-
The Mandalorian enters a meat locker run by Klatooinians. He stops in the back room, asking for Kaba Baiz. When his bounty refuses to come peacefully, Mando opts to bring him in cold. But during the ensuing battle, he injures himself with the Darksaber.
-
Mando collects his pay on the Glavis Ringworld and hobbles back to his people's covert. While Paz Vizsla treats his wound, Din Djarin presents the Darksaber to the Armorer, who is well aware of the weapon's legacy. She recounts its history, as well as The Night of a Thousand Tears -- in which the Empire destroyed Mandalore.
-
The Armorer believes that Djarin's beskar spear is a danger to Mandalorians; in turn, Djarin asks that it be melted and turned into armor as a gift for Grogu.
-
The Armorer trains Djarin in combat with the Darksaber, but the Mandalorian continues to struggle. "Your body is strong but your mind is distracted," she says. Soon, Paz challenges Djarin for the blade, claiming ancestral right.
-
The warriors battle! Djarin emerges victorious, but is forced to reveal that he's removed his helmet. Having broken the Mandalorian creed, the Armorer exiles him.
-
That Mandalorian travels on a commercial starcruiser to Tatooine. There, he reconnects with Peli Motto, who claims to have found a replacement for the Razor Crest.
-
"Ready to have your mind blown?" Motto says, revealing a vintage -- and very much in need of repair -- Naboo N-1 starfighter!
-
Mando is not impressed, but ultimately agrees to help Peli restore the ship (with some special modifications) and see how it turns out.
-
Finally, Mando's ready to take the N-1 for a test flight. He zooms over Tatooine deserts, through Beggar's Canyon, and up into the stars. "How was it?" Peli asks upon his return. "Wizard," Mando replies.
-
Shortly thereafter, Fennec Shand appears in the hangar. She offers Mando a job as Boba Fett's muscle; Djarin agrees, but won't accept pay. "First," he says, "I gotta pay a visit to a little friend."
