Captain Doza is worried; the Colossus's air-defense weapons are inoperable, making the platform vulnerable. Yeager's team works to restore the turbolasers, but a rare chip is needed -- and they need to keep this job top secret.

Unable to secure the part from Flix and Orka, Kaz and Tam visit Synara. She finds one, though the pair is evasive when asked why they need the chip. Synara, a secret pirate spy, is suspicious.

Synara contacts Kragan Gorr, the pirate gang leader, and informs him that something is wrong with the Colossus's weapons system. If the Aces leave, the platform will be defenseless!

Looking to glean more information, Synara visits Yeager's garage. She offers the crew some spare parts for free, while taking note of their current job...

Tam invites Synara to get some food. Tam talks about her past -- how her father was a racer and she'd hoped to be one, too, but it didn't work out. "Seems we both want the same thing," Synara says. "More than what life has offered us." Suddenly, the Aces launch.

The pirate spy immediately contacts Kragan, informing him that the Aces are away and the Colossus is defenseless. "Good work, Synara," he says.

The crew hurries to finish repairs, but it's too late. The pirates have arrived! Tam runs off to help Synara, while Yeager and Kaz work to get the cannons operational.

Tam reaches Synara, who is shocked that she came to save her. Meanwhile, Yeager and Kaz hold off Kragan and his minions, and use a hoverlift to ram the targeting computer into place.

The weapons system is back online, and the pirates flee! Yeager says he's proud of Kaz for his effort, and Synara seems touched by Tam's kindness.

The attack over, Doza contacts Commander Pyre of the First Order. He says he will look at Pyre's proposal -- anything to stop the pirate raids. Pyre will come to the Colossus to oversee the details. Personally.
