The Mandalorian returns to Nevarro, a hub of the Bounty Hunter Guild, where he accepts a new job for a mysterious client.
The Client gives the Mandalorian a tracking fob and the asset's age — 50 — and offers a down payment of one beskar ingot, with many more waiting upon completion of the job.
Deep in the sewer system of Nevarro, the Mandalorian brings the beskar ingot to the Armorer, who uses it to craft a new pauldron for the warrior.
Soon after arriving on Arvala-7, the Mandalorian is attacked by blurrgs. But a passerby named Kuiil, an Ugnaught, saves him.
Kuiil offers to help the Mandalorian in his quest, and teaches him how to ride blurrg for the journey ahead.
Kuiil and the Mandalorian ride together and reach the compound that holds the asset. The Ugnaught leaves, refusing payment; he only wants peace restored to the valley.
Before the Mandalorian can act, a droid called IG-11 appears, demanding the asset from the mercenaries guarding it.
The Mandalorian and the IG unit agree to work together, wiping out the gunfighters.
Inside the compound, they find the asset — a child! The armored bounty hunter points a finger toward the tiny being, and it reaches out for him in return.
