Tam finally plays Kaz's message, only to be found by Jace Rucklin. He says she must hand her comlink over to their superiors, and reminds Tam of her friends' betrayal.

At Aunt Z's, Kaz is shocked to find that the lively cantina is officially out of drinks. Neeku quickly adds that the Colossus itself is in danger of running out of fuel, food, and supplies, but Kaz is hopeful that their next stop will address all these needs.

Kaz goes to command to receive a long-range communication...from his father! He says that Kaz's family was off-world when the First Order destroyed their home planet, and have all survived. But Kaz's father warns his son to stay away from D'Qar; the First Order identified Kaz, and bounty hunters may be looking for him.

Jace and Tam visit Agent Tierny. Tam hands over the comlink, saying that Kaz attempted to contact her.

The Colossus arrives at D'Qar, only to find evidence of a deadly clash. "I think we're too late, Kaz," Yeager says, as Kaz realizes that the Resistance base has been wiped out.

Kaz has an idea. They can salvage coaxium fuel from the remains of the First Order Dreadnought. But they'll need some pirate help to do so.

Meanwhile, the First Order has traced Tam's comlink signal to D'Qar. Tierny informs Tam of the good news, and invites her to watch as they capture the Colossus.

Kragan and his crew, along with Kaz and his friends, head into the Dreadnought. They find coaxium, but suddenly, the First Order arrives. Tierny releases a squadron of TIE fighters, and Doza scrambles the Aces to meet them.

Kaz and the others manage to escape the Dreadnought just before the First Order destroys the downed craft. They make it back to the Colossus, but the battle still rages.

Neeku attempts to remove the coaxium from its canister and install it into the Colossus' engines, while the First Order Star Destroyer inches closer, pummeling their ship. Finally, Neeku finishes, and the Colossus makes the jump to hyperspace.

Commander Pyre tells Tam that, despite the Colossus' escape, her help has been invaluable. After Tierny dismisses the cadet, Pyre says that Tam must be conditioned to ensure loyalty. Tierny, however, resists. She believes that Tam, in her current state, is key to finding the Colossus.

On the Colossus, Synara insinuates that the First Order knew they were at D'Qar because of Kaz's message to Tam. Both Kaz and Neeku bristle at the suggestion, because it would mean Tam reported the transmission...
