An Imperial pod lands on Atollon, and a protocol droid emerges. It is quickly overcome by indigenous krykna spiders.
Zeb, AP-5, and Chopper discover the droid and reactivate it.
The droid immediately begins scanning and recording the base's inventory. Weapons, rations -- everything.
Agent Kallus contacts the rebel base. He informs Zeb that the Empire is missing an E-XD infiltrator droid; while they appear like harmless protocol units, they are actually something much more dangerous.
When the infiltrator learns it is on the rebel base, it reveals its true form. Moving quickly, the infiltrator attacks Zeb with a deadly furiousness. The Lasat tags it with a blast and drives it away.
After they turn it back on, the infiltrator initiates a self-destruct sequence -- it is equipped with a proton warhead. Chopper freezes the droid to stop the countdown, which gives Zeb an idea.
They reprogram the droid and send it back to the Empire...
...resulting in the destruction of a Star Destroyer.
While this was a small victory for the rebels, Grand Admiral Thrawn is pleased. Today's events have narrowed down his search for the rebel base.
