The Ghost crew arrives at Yavin 4 and immediately meet with Mon Mothma. She's received a transmission from Ryder Azadi, in which he claims the Empire has been developing a new TIE defender on Lothal. Mothma commands Ezra to investigate, but the Empire's lockdown of the planet has tightened. It will be difficult.

The rebels connect with gangster Cikatro Vizago for passage through the Empire's blockade. His clearance codes will get them to the planet surface.

Upon entry, Ezra is shocked to see Lothal's current state. It looks like it's dying -- burnt away by the Empire.

While they end up needing the help of Vizago's puffer pigs to avoid investigating stormtroopers, the rebels make it to their destination.

Ezra and Sabine head to Old Jho's. They find that Jho was arrested -- and executed -- by the Empire for aiding rebels. The watering hole is now under the stewardship of Baron Valen Rudor, an Imperial pilot.

Elsewhere, Kanan and Hera hide from a patrol and share a moment. He wishes he could see her. "You could always see me," Hera says.

In the cantina, troopers stop Ezra and Sabine as they try to leave. Another customer intervenes, paying for their drinks and pretending to know them. It's Jai Kell, Ezra's friend from the Imperial Academy. The rest of the team arrives shortly...followed by stormtroopers.

Jai takes the crew to Old Jho's old smuggling tunnels, which lead to the city outskirts. Followed by Rudor and stormtroopers, they barely make it to the exit...

...and find Ryder waiting.

The rebels take off for Ryder's camp, looking to devise a plan of attack on the Empire's TIE defender facility.
