Back on Lothal, Kanan, Ezra, and Chopper observe the Imperial headquarters. The Imperial presence has grown greatly since their last visit. Spotted, they make a fast exit with Ryder Azadi, taking down a walker in the process.
-
At Ryder’s camp, the Jedi reconnect with Morad Sumar, the farmer and family friend of the Bridgers. He has infiltrated the Imperial assembly line, which provides the rebels with just the opportunity they were looking for.
-
Kanan and Ezra join Morad Sumar in the Imperial factory. Thanks to a tip from Fulcrum, they believe the Empire is building a new weapon and hope to find out what it is.
-
But Thrawn is on site conducting an investigation on faulty construction. He commands Sumar to test a speeder bike that the former farmer had built, intentionally overheating and exploding the vehicle to send a message to the other workers. Kanan tries to contact Hera, but comms are jammed.
-
When Chopper provides a diversion, the Jedi make their escape and don stormtrooper armor as disguises.
-
Meanwhile, Thrawn studies art he’s gathered, focusing on Sabine’s graffiti. He believes these rebels have a special connection to Lothal.
-
Pursued by troopers, Kanan and Ezra find themselves in an elevator with Agent Kallus. The Imperial makes a shocking revelation: he is Fulcrum, and he will get them the data and aid their escape.
-
The rebels make for the east gate, where they commandeer an AT-DP walker. They battle AT-ATs, barely surviving the encounter.
-
Ryder rendezvouses with Kanan and Ezra, and they send the stolen data back to Hera. It’s plans for a new TIE model -- one with shields.
-
Thrawn summons Kallus and Governor Pryce. He informs them that he believes there is a spy in their midst. “When we find our spy, and we will find them,” he says, “we shall turn them from an obstacle into an asset. Wouldn’t you agree, Agent Kallus?”
