Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives on Daiyu and walks its seedy streets, looking for information on Leia. Soon, a boy named Jayco tells him of a Jedi that helps people -- for the right price.

Obi-Wan goes to see the would-be Jedi, who uses magnets and remotes to create the illusion of the Force. Kenobi confronts the conman, Haja Estree, and he surprisingly agrees to help find Leia.

Next, Obi-Wan enters a spice den dressed as a worker, eventually finding a back room that he thinks holds the princess. Only he's walked into a trap. He improvises an escape before finally locating Leia.

Elsewhere in the city, the Grand Inquisitor takes charge of the operation from Reva. "I will bring Kenobi in myself," he tells her. "You will be dealt with when we return." Instead, Reva puts out a call to all bounty hunters across the city to find Obi-Wan.

Following an attack, Obi-Wan and Leia pause in an alley for a moment. But when the princess sees a bounty puck with Kenobi's image, she panics and runs, worried about his true intentions.

Kenobi pursues Leia through the crowds and eventually onto a series of roofs, as she leaps from building to building. But one jump is too great, and Leia falls; reaching out through the Force, Obi-Wan gently lowers the girl to the ground below.

Leia and Obi-Wan watch the Inquisitors from afar as they lock down the port. Haja finds them, however, having secured another exit that will take the pair to Mapuzo. "You're not alone, Obi-Wan," Haja says. But shortly thereafter, Reva uses the dark side to extract the information she needs from Haja.

Obi-Wan and Leia reach the terminal and find Reva waiting. The Third Sister taunts Kenobi, saying that Lord Vader will be pleased -- and senses that she's delivered a startling revelation. "You didn't know?" she says. "Anakin Skywalker is alive." The Third Sister is soon interrupted, however, by the Grand Inquisitor.

Reva will not surrender her prey, and stabs the Grand Inquisitor through. Leia seizes the opportunity to launch the transport, and the two escape.

But Obi-Wan is troubled. "Anakin," he mutters, staring into the distance. Somewhere, the disfigured former apprentice of Obi-Wan's hangs in a bacta tank, emitting a horrible mechanical sound with each labored breath.

The datapad that Obi-Wan uses to track the ship signal to Daiyu is of the same design he had in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, where it was held by Anakin Skywalker in Padmé Amidala’s apartment.

Temuera Morrison’s cameo as a veteran of the 501st Clone Battalion shows not only a decade of neglect and despair, but also continued growth acceleration encoded into the clone’s biology. This genetic manipulation makes him appear far older than his 20 or so chronological years would suggest.

Though Temuera Morrison played clone troopers in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, this is actually his first scene wearing clone armor. In the prequels, all clone bodies were computer generated; Morrison's face was superimposed in post-production.

The sabacc card that Haja hands to Obi-Wan is actually secretly marked: it features numbers that correspond with coordinates that would send to him to a location on Mapuzo.

One of the bounty hunters pursuing Kenobi on Daiyu looks similar to 4-LOM, but is in fact a different droid named 1-JAC. Though they're the same model droid, they sport differences in detail and weapons.
