Crosshair reports in to Admiral Rampart and Prime Minister Lama Su. He tells them that scrappers on Bracca reported a power surge aboard a Jedi cruiser -- the work of Clone Force 99. Though Lama Su suggests they be returned alive, Rampart gives the order to terminate.

Back on Bracca, Wrecker teaches Omega how to disarm an explosive before they're recalled to the cruiser. On the way, Echo realizes they're being watched.

They give chase, and Wrecker grabs onto their speeder as it takes off. He eventually falls, but Echo stuns the driver shortly after.

Later, Hunter has an idea. They'll take weapons from the cruiser for Cid, which should clear their debt. But Tech counters that the intel from the ship's central system could be even more valuable...

They search the great vessel, and Wrecker and Omega soon stumble upon a cache of proton torpedos. Meanwhile, Tech suggests to Hunter that if they left with Rex, they wouldn't owe Cid at all.

On the bridge, Tech successfully locates the ship's data. But Omega notices a blinking light -- which Tech confirms is a proximity sensor. Suddenly, a small group of shuttles arrives. "It's the Empire," Tech says.

Nala Se meets with Lama Su. The Empire's aggressive action on Bracca troubles the prime minister. "I will have to call upon further assistance," he says. All that matters is returning Omega intact.

The Bad Batch scout the ships and see Crosshair. They jam his signal, but Hunter knows it won't be enough to stop him.

The team regroups; as the Empire has already secured the Marauder, they'll need a covert way out. While stormtroopers search the Jedi cruiser, the Bad Batch sneak in the shadows.

Tech patches in to the Empire's comm channel. Upon hearing where the troopers are headed, Hunter leads the Bad Batch in the opposite direction, to the artillery deck...

...only to find Crosshair and his squad waiting. It was a trap.

Echo suggests that Tech scomp in and reroute reserve power to the cannons. If they fire, it should collapse the deck.

Meanwhile, Crosshair and Hunter trade barbs. The Bad Batch leader tells his former friend that he's being controlled by an inhibitor chip, and Omega concurs. This seems to only upset the sharpshooter, who orders they target "the kid."

Suddenly, the cannons fire! As the ground begins to shake, the Bad Batch make their move and break through the troopers' perimeter.

They slink through the darkened cruiser, looking for a way out; Crosshair returns to his shuttle, plotting his next play.

Tech leads the team through the engines of the ship. But Crosshair, once again, is waiting!

The Bad Batch double back and soon realize that the engines have been activated -- the work of Crosshair. They'll have roughly two minutes to escape. They decide to use their recovered explosives to blow an opening through which they can fall, hopefully, to safety. "It's that or be incinerated," Echo says.

They place the explosives just before the engines are engaged. Wrecker activates the detonator, destroying the ring and exposing the thrusters! A torrent of energy rips through the cruiser's cylinder, blasting Crosshair and his soldiers back. Crosshair orders the engines turned off, while the Bad Batch tumble downward.

Hunter and Omega reach the Marauder first...and find the Imperial patrol already defeated. "Wasn't much work," says a nearby voice.

Omega looks up to see a bounty hunter -- Cad Bane -- standing in the ship's doorway. "Who hired you?" Hunter asks. Bane won't answer and demands the girl.

Bane and Hunter stand off, ready to draw their weapons...

The gunslinger is too quick.

After Bane's droid disarms Omega, the bounty hunter hits her with a stun shot. Elsewhere, an injured Crosshair is helped aboard his shuttle.

Hunter awakens in the Marauder, his teammates fighting off the Empire. When they finally take off, he tells them what happened. "We have to find her," he says...
