The Kel Dor Jedi Master Plo Koon discovered Ahsoka Tano’s Force-sensitivity while she was little more than a baby, and brought the Togruta girl to Coruscant for training in the ways of the Jedi.

A wise counselor and superb star pilot, Plo served on the Jedi Council during the final years of the Republic, sitting alongside the likes of Yoda and Mace Windu. He listened as Qui-Gon Jinn told of his encounter with a Sith warrior on Tatooine, and witnessed the testing of young Anakin Skywalker, whom Qui-Gon believed to be the Chosen One foretold by Jedi prophecy.

Plo joined the Jedi mission to save Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker on Geonosis, and was captured by the Separatists along with fellow Council member Ki-Adi-Mundi. The two were saved from becoming Separatist hostages when Yoda arrived with clone reinforcements.

Like many Jedi, Plo served as a general during the Clone Wars, leading Republic troops in battles on a number of worlds. He formed a particularly close bond with Commander Wolffe and his Wolfpack. During a mission in the Abregado system, Master Plo and his troops were attacked by the Separatist battleship Malevolence and left adrift in an escape pod.

Master Plo’s leathery skin allowed him to survive exposure to vacuum for a time. With battle droids searching for survivors of the Malevolence’s attack, Plo and his troopers left the escape pod to fight the droids in space. They survived long enough for Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano to find and rescue them.

A capable pilot, Plo joined Anakin and Shadow Squadron on a mission to destroy the Malevolence. The squadron passed through the dangerous Kaliida Nebula, then disabled the Separatist battleship with proton torpedoes. Plo then joined a task force that pursued the Malevolence until her destruction at Antar.

Plo was leading a tactical briefing on Coruscant when R2-D2 burst into the room with urgent news: Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu were trapped aboard a Jedi Cruiser crash-landed on Vanqor. Acting quickly, Plo and the Wolfpack rushed to Vanqor aboard a gunship to save the two Jedi.

Anakin and Mace had been ambushed by young Boba Fett, seeking to avenge his father’s death on Geonosis. Plo and Ahsoka took to Coruscant’s lawless underlevels in search of clues that would lead them to Fett and his gang.

The Jedi Master and Padawan tracked Fett to Florrum, where they confronted the young bounty hunter and his mentor Aurra Sing. After Sing abandoned Fett and fled, Plo took the young hunter to Coruscant to face justice for his crimes.

After Even Piell and Captain Tarkin were imprisoned in the feared Citadel, Plo briefed the leaders of the strike team of Jedi and clone troopers assembled to free them.

With the strike team needing extraction from the Citadel, Master Plo ordered a starfighter attack on Separatist forces in the system, and led gunships to the surface. Master Piell had been killed, but the coordinates of the secret hyperspace route he’d died to protect remained in Republic hands.

When fighting resumed in the Felucia system, Plo was one of the Jedi assigned to stop the Separatist advance. He counseled Anakin after Ahsoka was kidnapped by Trandoshan hunters, warning the impulsive young Jedi that he was letting his emotions cloud his judgment.

When Anakin and Obi-Wan discovered the Zygerrians had enslaved Togruta colonists, Plo led a task force to Kadavo to rescue the slaves and the team of Jedi and clones sent to locate them.

Master Plo was one of the Jedi who judged Ahsoka Tano after evidence connected her with a bombing at the Jedi Temple and the apparent murder of a witness. Plo found it difficult to believe the young woman he’d brought into the Jedi Order could have fallen into darkness, but the evidence against Ahsoka seemed overwhelming.

When Barriss Offee was revealed as the Jedi who’d framed Ahsoka, Plo joined other members of the Jedi Council in apologizing to Ahsoka and inviting her to return to the Jedi Order. He watched mournfully as Ahsoka instead chose to walk away from the only life she’d ever known.

On a forlorn, windswept moon of Oba Diah, Plo and the Wolfpack followed a distress signal to the wreckage of a T-6 shuttle, where the Jedi Master found the lightsaber belonging to Sifo-Dyas, who’d died years before. This discovery led to a stunning revelation about the origins of the Clone Wars.

In the final days of the Clone Wars, Plo led a starfighter squadron against Separatist forces on Cato Neimoidia. When Supreme Chancellor Palpatine issued Order 66, Plo’s clone wingmen blasted his fighter out of the sky, killing him instantly.
