The Nautolan Jedi Knight Kit Fisto was part of the rescue mission sent to Geonosis to free Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker from Count Dooku’s Separatists. He fought capably in the execution arena, using his lightsaber and the Force to dismantle dozens of battle droids.
-
After Nute Gunray escaped Republic captivity, Kit tracked his ship to a moon of Vassek, where Kit’s former Padawan Nahdar Vebb was waiting with clone troopers. But Kit soon discovered they were tracking a dangerous quarry: Vassek was the lair of General Grievous.
-
Kit congratulated Nahdar for passing the Jedi trials and becoming a full-fledged Jedi Knight, but quickly realized the Mon Calamari Jedi’s anger and fear about the war had led him perilously close to the dark side.
-
After Grievous confronted the Republic intruders, Kit slashed off his mechanical legs. But the Separatist warlord fled, and Nahdar insisted on facing him alone despite Kit’s warnings. The reckless decision cost Nahdar his life.
-
Retreating from Grievous’s trap, Kit called for his astromech to meet him on Vassek’s surface. But he found himself battling both Grievous and his MagnaGuards – and barely escaped the confrontation with his life.
-
Kit was on duty at the Ord Cestus medical station when he learned that an incoming medical frigate was infested by Geonosian brain worms. He boarded the frigate to rescue Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee, taking them to the station’s infirmary to recover from their ordeal.
-
When the Separatists conspired with the Quarren in an attempt to take over Mon Cala, Kit joined a Republic mission to free the planet. Fighting in his natural element, the aquatic Jedi and clone troopers engaged the droid armies beneath the waterworld’s waves.
-
Kit linked up with Anakin Skywalker and the Captain Ackbar, but struggled to hold the line against a Separatist counterattack using massive cybernetic jellyfish known as Hydroid Medusas. Kit, the Mon Calamari and the clones were forced to retreat and seek safety.
-
Hiding in Mon Cala’s undersea caves, Kit and his fellow Jedi sent a transmission asking the Jedi Council to help – but communications were cut off before reinforcements could be committed.
-
Obi-Wan Kenobi persuaded the Gungans to come to the Mon Calamari’s aid. In the fighting, Kit squared off with the Separatist warlord Riff Tamson to buy time for Prince Lee-Char to escape. Lee-Char got away, but Kit was captured – along with Anakin, Padmé Amidala and many Mon Calamari.
-
Eager to round up the rest of the Mon Calamari, Tamson interrogated the prisoners, tormenting Kit and Anakin with painful shocks from electric eels. But the two Jedi refused to tell the Karkarodon the location of Prince Lee-Char.
-
The Quarren repented of their alliance with Tamson and turned on the Separatists. Freed from captivity, Kit and his fellow Jedi joined the fight for Mon Cala’s freedom.
-
In the final days of the Clone Wars, Kit joined Mace Windu, Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar on a mission to arrest Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. But the secret Sith Lord surprised the Jedi, striking Kit down with his crimson-bladed lightsaber.
