A sister ship to the Vesper, the Dawnbringer was built at the start of the New Republic, part of a new fleet built for defense. With a crew led by Captain Girard, the Dawnbringer is tasked with fetching General Hera Syndulla from the Denab system after she and a small group of X-wing pilots disobey orders.
