Self-made pilot droid L3-37 accompanied Lando Calrissian on the supposedly retired smuggler’s tour of galactic sabacc games aboard the Millennium Falcon, well aware that Lando relied on her superb navigational database and help flying his remodeled freighter. While Lando played sabacc in the Lodge on Vandor, L3-37 protested the outpost’s gladiatorial droid matches, berating the organic spectators that droids were sentient and had rights.

L3-37 was annoyed when Lando revealed that he’d agreed to join the Beckett gang’s raid on Kessel; as usual, he hadn’t bothered consulting her but simply treated her like hired help. But she agreed to help Lando break into the landing field, where the Falcon was locked down with an ion restraining bolt.

On the way to Kessel, Han Solo looked around the Falcon with undisguised admiration while L3-37 did the work Lando habitually neglected. When Han dared to sit down in the co-pilot’s seat, L3-37 wasted no time ordering him to remove his presumptuous behind from the place that was rightly hers.
