Ironically, the Empire employs Imperial droid forces as security around facilities where B-1 battle droids and other Separatist military mechanicals are melted down. It's imperative that the new regime destroys all evidence of the Clone War-era enemies -- especially considering the fact that the movement's tactical droids contain algorithms to defeat the clones now serving the Empire.
