The Bad Batch arrive at Saleucami, a green, sunny world alive with vegetation and wildlife. Omega, having never been off Kamino before, is particularly amazed.
-
The group makes its way to meet Hunter's contact: a deserter of the clone army. After they spring a booby-trap, the friend emerges. "It's been a while, fellas," he says.
-
Hunter introduces Echo and Omega to Cut Lawquane and his wife Suu. Cut relays that Captain Rex passed through yesterday, telling him about the clone troopers turning against the Jedi and the inhibitor chips. Soon, Cut and Suu's children, Shaeeah and Jek, recruit Omega for some playtime.
-
Hunter and Cut catch up. Cut wonders why the Kaminoans may have created Omega, and adds that Saleucami is no longer safe. He's taking his family off-world. "I have to do what's best for them," he says, motioning to his children.
-
Cut and Hunter head into town. When Cut tries to buy passage on a transport, his credits are denied; all citizens must now register with the Empire and obtain a chain code for purchases.
-
Back at the farm, the children continue to play...but Omega goes beyond the fence, and a deadly nexu appears! Hunter and Suu turn it away, but the Clone Force 99 leader loses his temper. He berates the young one until Cut intervenes, comforting Omega.
-
Omega stays on the ship, crying. Outside, Hunter tells Cut and Suu that he wants Omega to leave with them. "You two can give her something that we can't," he says. When Su asks if that's what Hunter wants, he evades. "It's what she needs," he says.
-
Tech and Echo formulate a plan to get Cut on a ship. They'll have the clone authorities impound their shuttle, while they hide aboard; once they're at the dock, they'll download chain codes and deliver them to the family. But there was one element they missed: Omega is still on the ship.
-
Clones inspect the Bad Batch's craft, while Tech, Echo, and Omega hide. Once the coast is clear, Echo and Tech make their move. Later, as they debate how to get the chain codes to Cut and his family, Omega takes matters into her own hands.
-
Still, the Empire is everywhere. Following a few close calls, Omega finally reaches Hunter, Cut, Suu, and the others. Hunter, however, tells Omega that the extra chain code is for her -- she's to leave with the family. "But I want to stay with you," she says.
-
Clones close in on Wrecker, while Cut, his family, and Omega get through security. But Omega is torn about leaving.
-
Back at the impound dock, the Bad Batch clash with troopers and Hunter races in to help. Wrecker finally gets the clamp off their ship, and they make a run for it -- but then a voice calls out. "Wait for me!" Omega yells. When troopers attempt to stop the girl, Hunter quickly moves in to save her.
-
Though Cut is momentarily stopped, he and his family are ultimately granted permission to board. Their ship leaves the planet and up to the stars.
-
The Bad Batch blast off. Omega tells Hunter that she knows she made a mistake and has a lot to learn, but this is where she wants to be. "To tell you the truth, kid, I guess I've got a lot to learn, too," he says. "If this is where you want to be, then this is where you'll stay."
