Doctor Quadpaw’s extra set of arms were puppeteered from behind by two additional performers who rehearsed extensively to get in perfect sync.

The set decoration department employed a stylist for the creation of edible Star Wars food, including the Imperial sushi served on Aldhani.

Graphic designer Elle McKee created the hexagonal Imperial card game of Hex’el, used by the Imperial troops stationed at the Aldhani dam, as a last minute request, playtesting it at home the night before the shoot.

Visual effects artists referenced shooting stars, fireworks, long-exposure star trails, auroras, abstract expressionist paintings, and close-ups of human irises when creating the Eye of Aldhani.

The props department crafted thousands of individual credits to stock the Imperial vaults on Aldhani.

The celebration of the Eye of Aldhani was originally intended to include thousands of revelers, but COVID restrictions reduced the number of extras that could be on set. As a result, the storyline was revised to suggest that the smaller celebration was the result of the Imperial occupation of the Dhani’s sacred valley.

The Alhdani garrison troopers use a variation of the standard E-11 infantry blaster that has a longer barrel and a longer stock. It is based on the E-10 rifles seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story, but is a step closer to the later E-11, making it a sort of E-10.5 rifle.
