Syril Karn’s (Kyle Soller) Pre-Mor security detail and Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård) both converge on Ferrix with the same goal: find Cassian Andor (Diego Luna)! But while Karn leads a fruitless search of Maarva Andor’s (Fiona Shaw) home to capture her son, Cassian meets with Luthen to sell the N-S9 Starpath. During the transaction, Luthen makes a surprising offer, inviting Cassian to join his cause. But first they must escape the Pre-Mor security officers, a dangerous altercation that leaves Timm Karlo (James McArdle) dead and touches off the clang of bells and anvils as the Ferrixian people rebel against the intruders. As Maarva puts it: "That's what a reckoning sounds like.”
