The tradition of presenting diverse artist interpretations of the Star Wars universe continues in fine form as Topps releases all-new Star Wars Galaxy IV series, now available. As part of the series, official Star Wars artists show their talents in one-of-a-kind sketch cards depicting characters from the saga as well as the new TV series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Here's a look at some of the new cards completed by Star Wars artist Noah Albrecht.

"Being involved in this project was fun on so many levels," Albrecht says. "Primarily, I was able to put my own stamp on how I envision a certain scene or character of any of the films in the saga, rather than just one specific film. I totally geeked out, even more than usual!"

Drawing numerous Artist Sketch cards, there's bound to be a favorite character or two in the mix. "Definitely Boba or Jango Fett," Albrecht says. "I really like to have fun with exaggerating the sweeping curves and extreme angles, not-to-mention all of their sweet gadgets and weaponry, which, let's face it, is possibly the coolest part about them."

And which character ranks as the hardest to draw over and over? "The most challenging -- even though he's a dome with legs -- is R2-D2," Albrecht says. "If you're going to draw him right, you have to focus on the detail, even if it's a simplified, cartoony version."

With a chance to own a one-of-a-kind piece of original art, it's easy to see why collectors enjoy discovering new Star Wars artists like Albrecht. "I think fans will enjoy this set because of the sheer vastness of imagination of how each and every artist perceived Star Wars in their own eyes," Albrecht says. "Everyone has their own take, and there are so many incredibly talented artists on this set, that the odds of collectors pulling something sweet are very high!"

Star Wars Galaxy IV are already available primarily in hobby and comic shops.
