Pod Race

Like Struzan, artist John Alvin shares a special place in the Star Wars poster pantheon, having created a sizable number of pieces for many of the films of the saga. This poster of the Boonta Eve Pod Race was actually an exclusive insert in a 2000 issue of the French Star Wars Fan Club magazine, and wonderfully captures the speed and excitement of one of the film's most memorable sequences.
