For those who can't get enough of the amazing technology found in the Star Wars galaxy, DK Books follows up their Star Wars Blueprints set with five more double-sided poster-sized schematic plans encased in a bookshelf box. This time, artists Chris Trevas and Chris Reiff and writer Ryder Windham explore the Rebel Alliance, with blueprints depicting Echo Base, an X-wing fighter, the Tantive IV, a Y-wing fighter, and Rebel gear like blasters and bowcasters. These intricate plans show never-before-seen details of how Star Wars technology works. It is due out in August 2009. Please note that this is a temporary version of the cover.

For those seeking decorative fun with a touch of the Force, Abrams Image is producing the Star Wars: Punch Out and Play book. It features iconic photos of your favorite Star Wars characters along with famous quotations from the films. You can punch out and play with each character to create 12 paper dolls. It is out this fall.

For the young Padawans just journeying into the world of reading, DK is binding up four of their previously available DK Readers into a single edition that will be available through clubs and book fairs. This collection includes the 2005 releases, What is a Wookiee?, Journey Through Space, Ready, Set, Podrace! and A Queen's Diary.

For young readers in the UK, Ladybird is producing storybooks to tie into specific stories from The Clone Wars animated series. Due out in May 2009, these titles include Destroy Malevolence and Downfall of a Droid.
