The design for Boss Yushyn is based on a rough sketch of a bounty hunter alien that Ralph McQuarrie illustrated during the production of The Empire Strikes Back.

The lack of external air tanks on the heroes’ masks suggests that the asteroid does have a breathable atmosphere, but the Clouzon-36 needs to be filtered out. Evidently, Yushyn and his Rodian crew can breathe it just fine.

Kanan Jarrus’s modified stormtrooper helmet has a stylized Loth-cat face on it, thanks to Sabine.

The correct plural form of purrgil is “purrgil.” Hera misspeaks upon first seeing them (she says, “purrgils”) but to be fair, there was a lot going on.

In the script, the lead purrgil was referred to as the “Purrgil King.”
