The look of the Wren mansion on Krownest is strongly influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright “Prairie”-style architecture, but with a Mandalorian aesthetic. This was the architecture of the Big Rock campus of Skywalker Ranch where Lucasfilm Animation operated before moving to San Francisco.

The portrait of Ursa Wren seen in the great hall of the Krownest mansion is done in a style similar to that of Gustav Klimt.

The idea of Sabine having a sibling has been a story thread evolving over the course of the series. In series preproduction, Sabine was to have a twin sister named Sacha. Later, it was changed to a brother, and at one point, the character was to be the Protector of Concord Dawn. This was changed to Fenn Rau as that episode developed.
-
Early in this story’s development, Tristan’s name was Jona Wren.

Sabine’s Mando dialog in this episode translates to “Hailing Clan Wren. This is Sabine Wren on approach. Please respond.” The voice on the other end of the comm then says “Copy ‘Sabine Wren.’ Standby.”
