Draw Captain Rex

Ever wanted to draw Star Wars characters and vehicles just like the professional comic book artists? STEP ONE

Drawing lightly with a pencil, create a simple framework using basic shapes like circles, lines and triangles.

STEP TWO

Using your framework as a guide, you can now start to flesh out the shapes of Rex's legs, arms, shoulder plates, belt, etc.

STEP THREE

Continue to develop the shapes and outlines of his outfit and equipment, including the holsters hanging at his sides.

STEP FOUR

Create the outline of his helmet and take this time to carefully illustrate his visor and other head details.

STEP FIVE

Now you can focus on the stripes and markings on Rex's armor and helmet.

STEP SIX

At this point, you should have a fairly detailed pencil drawing of Captain Rex. Once you're happy with how your masterpiece looks, you can go over your lines with pen or marker, or heavier pencil lines.
