STEP ONE

Line a baking sheet with wax paper.

STEP TWO

Put the chocolate chips in a small, heavy saucepan. Put the pan on the stove and switch on the heat to low.

STEP THREE

Stir chocolate chips constantly until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.

STEP FOUR

Peel the banana. Put it on a cutting board and cut into 4 equal pieces.

STEP FIVE

Place the peanuts in a small bowl. Break apart the 2 pieces of chocolate-covered wafer candy bar. Cut each piece in half and set aside.

STEP SIX

Dip 1 banana piece in the melted chocolate. Dip the top, front, and back of the banana piece into the peanuts.

STEP SEVEN

Place the banana piece nut-side up on the lined baking sheet. Press the 2 chocolate-covered wafer candy bar pieces along either side of the banana.

STEP EIGHT

Repeat steps 6 and 7 with the remaining banana pieces.

STEP NINE

Place the baking sheet in the freezer until the chocolate hardens, about 15 minutes. Serve straight from the freezer. Makes 1 or 2 treats!
