Unable to make it to Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando for Star Wars Weekends this year? Well, if a West Coast trip is in the cards for you this summer, plan on stopping by Downtown Disney in California's Disneyland Resort to check out a new collection of Star Wars-inspired artwork presented by ACME Archives. According to the Disney Parks Blog, there's to be new travel-style posters as well as a whimsical set of Victorian-style Star Wars portraits showcased at Downtown Disney's D Street.
Disney animation artist and Star Wars Episode III matte painter William Silvers, who's created a stunning series of Star Wars artwork illustrations for ACME, will be on hand with ACME Creative Director Chris Jackson at D Street in Downtown Disney on May 5 between 3-6 p.m., so stop on by to say hello as Disney kicks off its 2012 Star Wars summer season!
