Visitors to the New York Comic Con this weekend will experience two attractions teasing up the excitement of Lucasfilm's new high-flying action epic, Red Tails!
There will be a celebrity-filled panel with exclusive sneak peeks at the new movie plus an on-site flight simulator that allows fans to feel some of the twists and turns P-51 fighter pilots might have experienced in an aerial battle from the movie!
The NYCC panel brings together actors from the film, artists from world-renowned visual effects company Industrial Light & Magic and a real American hero -- one of the original Tuskegee Airmen. Be among the very first to see an exclusive clip from the movie -- a spine-tingling dogfight sequence! Miles Perkins, Director of Marketing and Communications for ILM, moderates as the group discusses what it was like to act, create and live the action of an aerial dogfight.
Visitors to the two-minute action-packed Red Tails flight simulator will also receive a very cool Red Tails premium while supplies last -- an 11"x17" World War II style comic book cover illustration by legendary comic artist Joe Kubert!
Inspired by the heroic exploits of the first all African-American aerial combat unit, Red Tails is set to fly into theaters on January 20, 2012. An inspirational action film, Red Tails is about a squadron of exceptional young men who triumph over incredible odds to become the top gun pilots known as the Tuskegee Airmen.
