Hasbro's Star Wars Toys for 2012

Hasbro recently unveiled their plans for the various lines of Star Wars action figures, vehicles, role play toys and more at the New York Toy Fair last weekend, an annual event staged to showcase the toy industry's new products. As usual, Hasbro's Star Wars offerings generated a lot of excitement among fans and collectors lucky enough to attend the event, with the enormous new MMT (Multi-Troop Transport) vehicle headlining the array of new toys from a galaxy far, far away. In addition, Hasbro revealed their new Star Wars action figures and vehicles, as well as two brand new series: Star Wars AMP'D, which allows kids to customize an array of different Star Wars vehicles, and Star Wars Fighter Pods, a collectible new gaming series featuring uniquely stylized, fun interpretations of your favorite Star Wars characters!

MTT (Multi-Troop Transport):

Star Wars AMP'D:

New series! For the first time ever, kids will be able to quickly and easily customize the most iconic Star Wars vehicles and prepare them for any mission: land, space, sea or air! In 2012, the line features 12 figures and 6 vehicles. Each set sold separately.

2012 will see three collections of action figures: The Movie Heroes Collection includes features like light-up lightsaber effects, action movements and even electronic sounds! The Clone Wars Collection continues the series styled on the wildly popular animated series on Cartoon Network. Finally, the Vintage Collection continues to take fans back to "a long time ago" with selections of all-time favorite characters from throughout the six-film saga. Each of the figures in this assortment will feature the exceptionally accurate design and superb articulation customary to Hasbro's action figures, and will be offered in packaging reminiscent to that of the original 1978-1984 Kenner Star Wars packaging!
