Presented here are the first five radio commercials, or "spots", created for Star Wars in 1977. It's interesting to note that the campaign didn't really seem to have a clue as to how to sell Star Wars to the public, much less get their facts straight -- one spot mentions a barroom brawl in hyperspace (??). They did effectively sample the exotic soundtrack, however, with various creature, laser, starship and lightsaber sound effects.
As a bonus, we're also including a rare radio ad for Burger Chef Star Wars posters, which became available in September, 1977.
