You would think that a sleek, space-age helmet like the types worn by the clone troopers would be able to keep out loud noises -- but that doesn't seem to be the case when you watch the clone troopers covering their ears by the big artillery cannons. It's an odd sight, but if you watch Episode IV, the Death Star gunners do the exact same thing!
