Can't find a paper clip when you need one? Need one place to put all your desk supplies odds and ends? Make your own handy Clone Wars Collage Box featuring images of your favorite characters like Yoda, C-3PO, R2-D2, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and newcomer Ahsoka Tano.
It's easy to make, plus it's fun! Just follow the instructions below!
What You Need:
- A recipe box, or any box with a lid
- Scissors
- Images of Clone Wars characters
- Non-toxic craft glue
- Colored construction paper
- Felt squares
Instructions:
1. First thing you want to do is find images from The Clone Wars you'd like to print out, or cut out of a magazine to use to decorate your box. You can find images on The Clone Wars site here. Or better yet draw your own Clone Wars characters on paper to use this project.
2. Next trace around the lid and sides of your box onto the back of your images. Once you trace around the box sides and lids, cut out the images to paste on your box. You can also trace on colored paper the same measurements in case you want it to be the box background instead. That way you can cut out your favorite characters and paste it on the construction paper. It's up to you!
3. Glue your images to your box so they take up the whole box side, or overlap the images for a fun collage effect. If you want to make your box a little fancier, cut out and glue felt lining the inside of it. Then fill your box with smaller desk supplies, toys, collector cards, or whatever else you want to keep in one place.
