All-New Gameplay, New Loot Cards to Be Valuable Cargo This Month
Scheduled for release this month, the third expansion to the successful Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game from LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) brings the exciting ability to boost your light or dark side deck with all-new smuggler and spy unit cards, as well as adding 10 new smuggler and spy-themed scenarios.
The Agents of Deception expansion adds more than 180 new playable cards and more than 20 new loot cards to the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game, bringing the total number of cards in the game to more than 1,000. The new playable cards will feature smuggler and spy units that can:
- Bring item cards into play when your opponent least expects it;
- Occasionally add bonuses to existing item cards to enhance their powers;
- Get behind enemy lines and deal covert damage to your opponent; and
- Launch surprise attacks on your opponent's avatar.
In addition, this expansion introduces new cards to the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game, including:
- New Star Wars Character Cards -- These add a host of powerful iconic Star Wars characters to the virtual world, including legendary smuggler Lando Calrissian, Bib Fortuna and Blackhole, the mysterious director of the Imperial Intelligence.
- New Loot Cards -- More than 20 new loot cards will be available, including the Corellian G9 Rigger Freighter ITV, a Mutated Peko-Peko mount, plus the first-ever swimming pool, the Muunilinst relaxation pool, which can be redeemed with an active account in good standing in the Star Wars Galaxies MMO, continuing the tradition of offering incredible in-MMO loot.
