Naboo's surface consists of swampy lakes, rolling plains and green hills. Its population centers are beautiful -- Naboo's river cities are full of classical architecture and greenery, while the underwater Gungan settlements are a striking display of exotic hydrostatic bubble technology.

A scheming Dug pilot, Sebulba is the undefeated Podracing champion of Mos Espa, Tatooine. He ensures his repeated victories by cheating, using hidden weapons and dirty tactics while driving his enormous Podracer.

A dedicated and legendary Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan Kenobi is the Padawan learner apprenticed to Qui-Gon Jinn. A stern apprentice, Kenobi believes in following the Jedi Code to the letter, unlike his more maverick mentor.

At 14 years old, Queen Amidala is the elected leader of the peaceful planet of Naboo. When her homeworld is invaded by the Trade Federation, she at first carefully avoids a course of action that would lead her planet to war. When combat becomes inevitable, Amidala fights for freedom in both the political arena of the Galactic Senate, and the battlefields of Naboo.

An outcast, the clumsy but well-meaning Jar Jar Binks spent his time in the Naboo swampland. Jar Jar's fate took a twist when the hapless Gungan encountered a pair of Jedi as they eluded enemy forces during the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo. By Gungan tradition, Jar Jar found himself indebted to Qui-Gon Jinn for saving his life.
