R2-D2's strong self-preservation subroutines kick in when in danger. Forced to evacuate a crippled Jedi cruiser, Artoo commandeers a Republic Y-wing fighter, and drags C-3PO along on a planet-hopping, battery-draining adventure.

The droids crash-land on the planet Patitite-Pattuna, home of the diminutive Patitite people. The tiny denizens capture R2-D2 and C-3PO and drag them before their leader, the tyrant Hay-Zu.

Hay-Zu is the ruler of the Patitites, a bossy dictator who is absolute authority over the tiny people. C-3PO tries to engage Hay-Zu with diplomacy, but ends up changing Patitite society profoundly.

The primitive planet Balnab is home to a colony of shipwreck survivors that are completely subservient to a towering holographic leader named Albee Dewa. R2-D2 exposes the true power behind Dewa's authority.

Though droids of this type are usually helpful mechanics, a quartet of mischievous pit droids that crash-landed on Balnab have taken it upon themselves to rule the organic settlers through a remarkable deception.

K0-5D is a gladiator droid that fights in the sparring pits of the Weequay pirate ship, Marauder. C-3PO and R2-D2 must face this mechanical champion in metal-rending combat.

General Grievous attacks Adi Gallia's cruiser and captures the Jedi Master. Though R2-D2 and C-3PO escape from this conflict, it isn't long before they cross paths with Grievous' mighty dreadnought again.

Adi Gallia's Jedi cruiser is suddenly trapped by Separatist vessels. She leads the defense of her flagship as General Grievous infiltrates the ship with his lightsabers blazing.

Plo Koon launches a rescue mission to extract Adi Gallia from Grievous' warship. Fighting alongside Master Plo are Clone Commander Wolffe and the troopers of the 104th Battalion.
