Home of the Twi'leks

Description
Ryloth is the principal planet in the Ryloth system located in the Outer Rim near Tatooine. It is home to the Twi'leks, a humanoid species with two large, fleshy head-tails growing from their skulls. The Twi'leks call these prehensile appendages lekku and can communicate through subtle lekku gestures, although they also speak Twi'leki. During the Clone Wars, scheming Separatist warlords blockaded and invaded Ryloth, hoping to steal its riches.

Relationships
Cham Syndulla
Cham Syndulla led the local resistance movement that opposed the Separatist blockade and invasion of his planet. Cham was wary that the Republic forces that came to assist him would simply be another occupational force that would challenge the freedom of the Twi'leks.
Orn Free Taa
The rotund Senator Orn Free Taa represented Ryloth in the Galactic Senate. To many, Orn Free Taa is a bloated example of the corruption rampant on Coruscant. While the people of Ryloth toiled to scratch out a meager living, he wallowed in a pampered life of cosmopolitan excess.
Numa
Numa lived in the city of Nabat on the planet Ryloth during the Clone Wars. After the Separatists invaded Ryloth, killing Numa's parents, she was able to avoid capture and lived in the abandoned city and the tunnel system underneath it until being rescued by a pair of Republic clone troopers.
Emir Wat Tambor
The greedy Wat Tambor led the invasion of Ryloth. The foreman of the Techno Union, Tambor attempted to pillage the riches of the city of Lessu before abandoning the planet.
Mace Windu
Jedi Master Mace Windu led the clone forces in the fight to liberate Lessu. He fought alongside Cham Syndulla in the final charge to defeat the Separatists.
