Description
An idyllic world close to the border of the Outer Rim Territories, Naboo is inhabited by peaceful humans known as the Naboo, and an indigenous species of intelligent amphibians called the Gungans. Naboo's surface consists of swampy lakes, rolling plains and green hills. Its population centers are beautiful -- Naboo's river cities are filled with classical architecture and greenery, while the underwater Gungan settlements are a beautiful display of exotic hydrostatic bubble technology.

Padmé
Amidala
When she was 14 years old, Padmé Amidala served as the elected Queen of Naboo, where she guided the planet through a siege and invasion by the Trade Federation. The popular leader served through her term limitations, and later at the behest of the new Queen, served as Senator of Naboo.
Jar Jar Binks
Once a clumsy Gungan outcast from his native village, Jar Jar Binks befriended offworlders seeking to help warn the Naboo of the Trade Federation invasion. Jar Jar's friendship with the humans helped unite the normally isolationist Gungans with the Naboo surface-dwellers.
Palpatine
Senator Palpatine represented Naboo in the Galactic Senate during the time of the Trade Federation invasion. Palpatine was able to transform this calamity into political opportunity, riding a tide of sympathy votes into the office of Supreme Chancellor.
Trade Federation
The leaders of the Trade Federation conspired with the shadowy Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, to invade the planet of Naboo.
Naboo starfighter
Protecting the skies of Naboo are sleek yellow starfighters piloted by a volunteer security force.
