A harsh, arid desert world in the Outer Rim Territories, Florrum is off the beaten path of major galactic hyperspace routes, making it the perfect haven for hunted criminals or lawless thugs. Aurra Sing brought her Republic captives to Florrum in hopes of luring the Jedi into a trap. When the odds turned against her, and Aurra tried to escape the planet, she crashed her vessel and was, for a time, presumed dead.
The Slave I was to be Aurra Sing's vehicle of escape from Florrum, but Ahsoka Tano sheared off one of its stabilizers with her lightsaber and caused the ship to crash. Hondo Ohnaka salvaged the craft.
