Description
At the time of their introduction, the Republic clone trooper represented the future of galactic warfare. Far superior to the battle droids, the clone troopers formed the backbone of the Republic's new military that waged war against the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. So symbolic were they of the times, the galaxy-wide conflict that saw their debut took its name from their ranks: the Clone Wars.
Born and raised in the clone hatcheries of Kamino, these physically identical soldiers are trained for no other purpose than combat, but have nonetheless developed into individuals under the guidance of their Jedi generals.

Relationships
Kamino
The source of all the clone troopers are the advanced cloning hatcheries on Kamino, a world beyond the Outer Rim. The clones rightly think of the laboratories and military barracks as their home and will defend it fiercely.
Jango Fett
Jango was hired by a man named Tyranus to become the genetic template for the Grand Army of the Republic. Ironically, every clone trooper fighting against the Separatists has the face of a bounty hunter also hired by Count Dooku.
Shaak Ti
Shaak Ti looked at the Republic's clone troopers not as battlefield assets, but as individuals full of potential. Though she was a hard judge of capability and expected the best from the clones, she was not as callous as some of the other supervisors on Kamino.
battle droid
The principal enemy of the clone trooper is the Separatist battle droid. Clones can think independently, creatively, and are far more versatile than their single-minded mechanical adversaries.
Stormtroopers
The stormtroopers are the latest evolution of the Republic's clone troopers. Their armor is advanced, and they no longer take guidance from the wisdom of the Jedi Knights. Instead, stormtroopers are employed in the most brutal of Imperial strikes, commanded by cruel officers and governors.
