Aayla Secura was once the Padawan of Jedi Knight, Quinlan Vos. Vos, an untraditional Jedi who often frequents the galactic underworld, saved Aayla from the seamier side of Ryloth, her home world.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan knew well of Quinlan Vos' reputation. As Obi-Wan described it, Quinlan was "crazy." The two worked together to track down Ziro the Hutt.
Ziro the Hutt
Ziro the Hutt was an influential Hutt crime lord sprung from a Republic prison by his fellow gansters to ensure that he would not spill any secrets to the authorities. Quinlan used his pyschometric abilities to track Ziro to the swamps of Nal Hutta and then to the spires of Teth.
Cad Bane
When Ziro escaped custody once again and was on the lam from his fellow Hutts, Cad Bane tracked him down to Teth at the same time that Quinlan Vos and Obi-Wan arrived. Ziro was already dead, but Cad battled with the Jedi.
Jedi Order
Quinlan is not exactly a model Jedi Knight, but he is nonetheless committed to upholding the ideals of the Jedi Code and peace and justice within the Republic.
