Before the Battle of Endor, Madine's operatives stole an Imperial shuttle. The general's plan: land a strike team on the Forest Moon, overcome Imperial resistance, and destroy the shield generator protecting the Death Star.
Han Solo
To lead the strike team, Madine needed a fellow scoundrel -- and he found one in Han Solo, the Corellian smuggler turned Rebel hero. Han got a general's commission and a key role on the Endor mission.
Rebel Troopers
Madine respected the Rebel troopers under his command, making sure they were properly equipped and prepared for the dangerous missions he planned against the Empire.
