Details
Description
Crude and slovenly, Dengar was nonetheless an effective bounty hunter. While some hunters prided themselves on finesse and style, Dengar preferred firepower and destruction. Despite his scruffy-looking and battered exterior, Dengar thought highly of himself, enough to make blunt passes at shapely females that caught his eye. Despite these obnoxious qualities, Boba Fett enjoyed working with Dengar and held him in high regard due to his proven track record in hunting down prey.

Relationships
Darth Vader
Eluding the Imperial starfleet after the Battle of Hoth, the Millennium Falcon and her crew demanded the personal attention of Darth Vader. Disgusted with the fleet's inability to capture a single smuggler vessel, Vader hired six elite bounty hunters -- Dengar included -- offering a substantial reward for the capture of the Falcon.
Boba Fett
Boba Fett first worked with Dengar during the Clone Wars, when Fett was still making a name for himself in the bounty hunting world.
Bossk
Dengar fought alongside Bossk on more than occasion, and the two were partners during the dangerous cargo run through the subterranean caverns of Quarzite.
C-21 Highsinger
Dengar's style was downright sloppy compared the precisely computed accuracy of C-21 Highsinger, a combat droid of unknown origins that worked as a bounty hunter during the Clone Wars.
IG-88
Another automated bounty hunter who served as a contemporary of Dengar's was the tarnished chrome war droid, IG-88, who also answered Darth Vader's call to hunt down the Millennium Falcon.

Another elegant combatant who stands in stark contrast to Dengar is Latts Razzi, a beautiful and deadly Theelin bounty hunter who operated during the Clone Wars.
Asajj Ventress
After abandoning her past as a Sith apprentice and Nightsister, Asajj Ventress entered the deadly profession of bounty hunting, where she caught the appreciative -- and most unwelcome -- eye of Dengar.
Kage Warriors
Hardly graceful, Dengar nonetheless held his own for a time while brawling with the Kage Warriors during the mission to Quarzite. His explosives helped even the odds, but it was only a matter of time before he was knocked out of the fight.
