A chilly technocrat, Jerjerrod was responsible for overseeing construction of the second Death Star above the forest moon of Endor. The task was difficult, to say the least -- Jerjerrod desperately needed more time and more resources. What he got instead was a visit from Darth Vader.
Jerjerrod was secure enough in his position to complain to Darth Vader that the Emperor was asking him to do the impossible. But rather than sympathizing, Vader had chilling news: The Emperor was on his way to personally oversee the completion of the new Death Star, displeased about Jerjerrod's lack of progress.
Jerjerrod feared the worst once the Emperor arrived on a well-guarded shuttle. But the galactic ruler took little notice of him, dwelling instead on the progress of his plot to lure the Rebel fleet into a deadly trap.
The second Death Star was larger and more powerful than its predecessor. Jerjerrod was proud to supervise the battle station's construction -- but also worried by the scope of so massive a construction project.
