Description
An immense, fur covered hero of great strength and loyalty, Chewbacca the Wookiee was a well-known figure in both the underworld and in the Rebel Alliance. Born on Kashyyyk over two centuries before the Battle of Yavin, Chewbacca was a wise, sophisticated being with exceptional skills in starship piloting and repair. He is a gentle giant, with compassionate blue-eyes set within a furry face. If his friends are threatened, though, Chewbacca unleashes his strength in a furious rage.

Relationships
Han Solo
Han and his Wookiee first mate and co-pilot Chewbacca had a variety of adventures throughout their long careers as smugglers. Their long history together forged a loyalty and trust between the two that served them through several battles, be it against gangsters, bounty hunters, or stormtroopers.
Millennium Falcon
Chewbacca was first mate aboard the dilapidated freighter Millennium Falcon, and was constantly tinkering under the Falcon's hood to make the ship as fast as she could be.
Tarfful
Tarfful and Chewbacca worked closely in the defense of Kashyyyk during the Clone Wars. Tarfful also rescued Chewie from Trandoshan hunters on Wasskah.
Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano met Chewbacca when they were both stranded on the Wasskah moon, a game preserve for Trandoshan big game hunters. Chewie built a distress beacon and helped Ahsoka battle her way to freedom against the Trandoshans.
Yoda
In defending Kashyyyk against the Separatists in the Clone Wars, Chewbacca battled alongside Jedi Master Yoda. When Order 66 made all Jedi enemies of the Republic, Chewie helped Yoda escape via a well-hidden escape pod.
