A faceless enforcer, Boba Fett's distinctive, customized Mandalorian armor strikes fear in the hearts of fugitives. He is a legendary bounty hunter, accepting warrants from both the Empire and the criminal underworld. He is all business, laconic, and deadly.
Fett has carefully guarded his past, cultivating a curtain of mystery around his origins. He is in truth a clone, an exact genetic replica of his highly skilled "father," Jango Fett. From Jango, Boba learned valuable survival and martial skills, and even as a child he was proficient with a blaster or laser cannon. With Jango's death at the hand of Jedi Knight Mace Windu, Boba would forever harbor a deep hatred for the Jedi and their allies.
Boba was an unaltered clone of Jango Fett, whom Jango raised as a son. The elder Fett cared greatly for his son, and taught him combat skills and ruthlessness from an early age.
Boba Fett inherited his father's craft after Jango's untimely demise. The ship changed hands during the Clone Wars, but eventually came back to Boba's control. Fett piloted the Slave I when he tracked Han Solo to Cloud City, and delivered the carbon-frozen Corellian to Tatooine in the cargo hold of his ship.
Aurra Sing served as a mentor to Boba Fett when the young boy was left alone following the death of his father, Jango, by a Jedi Knight. Aurra plotted to help Boba exact vengeance against Mace Windu.
Boba witnessed his father die on Mace Windu's blade. He cradled his father's empty helmet and swore vengeance against the Jedi in general, and Mace in particular.
As the galaxy's preeminent bounty hunter, Fett was often hired by Jabba the Hutt for special assignments -- such as tracking down Han Solo.
