Visionaries anthology graphic novel from Dark Horse Comics, its doubtful anyone would want that close a look.
The moody, expressive art of Derek Thompson depicts Sidious undergoing some ghastly Sith ritual, which requires him to draw blood from his hand with a ragged fingernail, next followed by the ingestion of a nasty tooth-filled worm. As he convulses from the worm's effect, his dark power is felt across the galaxy. The worm emerges as a wriggling titan before crumbling to dust, and a well manicured Chancellor Palpatine emerges.
