Star Wars #52, October 1981. Metal bands could do worse than look to issue #52 for pointers on how to compose an awesome cover. Vader takes his traditional "looming in background" position, but rather than reach out with just one black-clad fist, this time Vader's got both mitts extended. Break that symmetry up with some classic starship dogfights, and you've got a winner that is not only stylish, but also accurately captures the action within.
