Sometimes the numbers speak for themselves:
  • 28,000 packets of rehydrate powder consumed

  • 84,000 bottles of water drunk

  • 350 tons of equipment shipped to the Sahara on eight planes, including the Russian Antonov AN124 -- the largest transport plane in the world

  • 1 collision with a herd of camels

  • 5 people delirious due to heat exhaustion
