Piloted by the amphibious Elan Mak, this bulbous Podracer started the Boonta Eve Classic competition from the fourth row of the starting grid.
From the Expanded Universe
Mak's Podracer is an outdated craft that once could have turned heads. Just like everything else in Podracing, though, style and technology change in the blink of an eye, and what was once considered a great craft is left in the dust and outpaced by newer models. Mak's bulbous Kurtob KRT 410C has a relatively slow top speed and low acceleration. The spherical cockpit, though, is extremely areo-dynamic, since the amphibious Mak knows all about the virtues of streamlining.

During production, Elan Mak's Podracer was known as Podracer "N" due to its position on the starting grid.
